In early 2003, a  group started gathering on Thursday nights for a Bible study and to see what God might do in and through them. On May 23, 2004, that group held their first Sunday service as River Valley Church at Edwards Cinemas in River Park.  Since that first Sunday, RVC has been blessed each week with volunteers and staff that helped turn a temporary home into a tool that has encouraged believers to grow and those unconnected to God to faith in Jesus for the first time.

In March of 2008 RVC made a strategic move to the Clovis North Educational Center. This move has given us a greater sense of clarity about who we are as a church and who God has called us to care for and serve in our community. As our story unfolds we will faithfully continue to pursue and share Christ together and we hope and pray you will be a part of the future of RVC.
