CHILDREN’S (Infants – 6th grade) :: Children’s ministry exists so that we may teach children to know, love and follow God. Our goal is to see kids understand truth, have fun while learning, and feel loved by the staff and volunteers while making life decisions that glorify God. We understand that as we start with something simple, God allows our efforts to count for something significant in the life of a child. YOUTH (JR & SR High) :: Our desire is to see students interacting and studying the Bible together, understanding that God’s word will reveal His plan for their lives. We will encourage fun energetic times of worship with high level of student involvement. The teaching will be relevant to the world they encounter Monday through Friday at their schools. It is our goal to have our youth characterized by love and respect for one another as they grow in maturity in Christ. Together, we will discover ways for students to use their time and talents to minister to others. RVC Youth meets weekly on Sunday mornings and mid week on Wednesday nights. LIFE GROUPS
We believe that life and faith are connected and they are a 24/7, 365 day a year journey. We also value walking and partnering together on that journey, realizing that long lasting growth and transformation happens in relationships with others seeking to grow in their walk with God. God Himself willingly exists in the context of relationships (Trinity) and we seek to model that same pattern through RVC Life Groups (weekly small groups). Life Groups are a vital and ever growing/developing part of who we are and desire to become. If you are interested in joining a group or helping to establish a new one please let us know. SERVE
One of the easiest and quickest ways to get connected at RVC is to join a service team. Obviously, a five-year-old church plant has plenty of service needs but our heart is to help you connect to God and others through serving. What that means is that we will continue to develop new and existing opportunities for people to connect through service. Currently we have a significant need for people to partner with RVC in the areas of Sunday morning set up and tear down as well as in our Family Ministries. NEXT STEP LUNCH
NSL is a casual gathering that happens every other month and is designed for people who are unconnected or new to RVC. Our hope is to provide an informal opportunity for people to meet and connect with RVC staff and other key leaders while hearing more about who we are and where we are heading. ROOTS

MEN’S & WOMEN’S MINISTRIES
It is our desire to help and equip the men and women of RVC to live out our purpose of GROWING, LIVING and REACHING. Some of the ways we seek to accomplish this is through men’s and women’s Bible study groups, care ministries, retreats and special connecting events.

RETREATS :: We have men’s and women’s retreats throughout the year.  This year our Men’s Retreat is scheduled for November 6th – 8th and Women’s Retreat is scheduled for April 30th – May 2nd.  We will have more information on these retreats soon.  If you have any questions, please contact Brittany at 559.325.3493 or dayna@rvcfresno.com.
